The Spring 2025 Housing Application opens
Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.

Application Types
New Student Application: Complete this application if you are an incoming freshman, incoming transfer, incoming graduate student or JSU student who has never stayed on campus.
Returning Student Application: Complete this application if you are a student who has previously resided on campus.
Note: Graduate students will need to email housinginfo@dbctl.com after completing the application to receive your room assignment.
Eligibility
- You must be an accepted full-time student (enrolled in 12 or more credits) or be a full-time graduate student to receive an offer of housing. Graduate status is verified through the Graduate School.
- Students in any of the below categories are eligible to submit a housing application.

- Medically re-admitted JSU students.
- First-year students new to JSU for fall semester.
- Transfer students coming to JSU directly from another college.
- Re-admitted JSU students.
- International students transferring to JSU.
- JSU students living off-campus.

- All housing inquiries should be sent to housinginfo@dbctl.com.
- All new students are required to have up-to-date immunization records received and verified by the JSU Health Center, and the FASFA application received and processed by JSU Financial Aid.

The $100 non-refundable housing application processing fee for New/Transfer students must be paid before a room assignment will be issued.

The $75 non-refundable room reservation fee for Returning students must be paid before a room assignment will be issued.
Offers are based on availability. Please check your JSU email frequently for important housing information.
Cancellation Policy

Student’s cancellations of housing for the Spring semester are accepted until December 14, 2024, without the student incurring a cancellation fee. Students canceling after December 14, 2024, but prior to December 21, 2024, will incur three hundred fifty dollars ($350) cancellation fee and will not be required to pay the entire cost of housing for the semester. Student’s cancellations of Housing and Meal Agreements will not be accepted after December 21, 2024. Students shall be assessed and obligated to pay the full charges assessed for housing and meals after with no reduction in the fees assessed, including but not limited to residence hall room fees, post office fees and meal plan fees.
- If you wish to cancel your housing assignment, you may do so by emailing housinginfo@dbctl.com with the following statement: “I (insert first name, last name, and J Number) wish to cancel my housing for the Spring 2025 semester.”
- All cancellation requests must be in writing.
